Well, I find it prudent to first introduce myself. I am the manifestation and keeper of what is known as Time. I make sure it runs in proper order, and that everything follows as it should, and nothing is usurped. I will address many issues in this literation of my musings, and almost all points of view interconnect at one point or another. Be patient, all will be explained, quite fittingly, in time.

First, I will address the very thing that I govern. Time.
Many people regard time as a straight line. That is rather incorrect. Events repeat, parallel, and deja vu often. If time were simply a straight line, all creatures traveling the same line, then nothing would ever be repeated, mistakes would always be learned from. But since there is a flaw to every being, including the fact that life itself runs in cycles, this can never hold true.
Many people regard time as a wheel. Yet, this too, is not quite true. Then there would never be progress, never be real change, events would always simply repeat. Yet, some might point out, many things do simply repeat without change. The growth and decay of a flower, for example. They always happen the same way. Always the same wheel. And perennial plants always bloom at the same time, and wither at the same time, unless outside circumstance dictates otherwise, so these also, are wheels. But, those are only simple plants.
I, in my observation in the individual lines of time, particularly of those in more intelligent creatures, including but not limited to cats, dogs, horses, birds of prey, and humans, have seen differently. I have seen beings change. Turn their life around. Attempt to become better, and start a new loop. You see, that is one aspect of time that always remains the same. Time runs in loops. It can be a circle, if one never tries to change, always making the same mistakes.
However, if one has the desire to make a different decision when faced with a familiar choice, they can divert themselves from the circle they once ran on, and start a new one. However, coming to that one essential decision, they could also decide to make their first choice, and run back onto their original circle. I find threads that do this, alternating between two decisions on a spectrum, to look like the symbol that humans have created for "infinity".
Yet, another divulsion may be made, making a third loop, even a forth and a fifth, an infinite possible amount of loops, all going in different directions. In my opinion, the closest human design that has come to the true nature of time, would be the "Celtic Knot". I have seen designs of Celtic Knots, and I know the Celts intentions upon creating it. It was to show the interconnection that all life holds. But, even if by accident, they stumbled on the true possible designs for time.
But, even this is not perfect. I have seen time lines run in a spiral, where it starts small, but it makes the smallest diversion in a choice, so spans outward, further and further, all choices similar, and yet different, as there is no true overlap in threads of these condition. Even more amazingly, I have seen time lines parallel to eachother. Where the loops and lines that have been made, as well as the point in the thread that they are, equal the thread of another. Sometimes they take me several moments to properly detect, due to the tightness in which they weave next to eachother.
However, even more difficult for me to detect, is lines that have done a complete reversal. Where there is the smallest kink in the design, the smallest deviation, to show that they reversed direction in their line. Of course, I being the overseer, must straighten this kink to prevent tangling of threads to occur, as all threads weave throughout and within eachother, and the smallest kink can cause a disruption. You see, looking at one thread is many loops and spirals, but upon looking at the entire collection of them, you will find that it is in fact a delicate weaving of incredible art and genius, art and genius created by the lives of the beings that are simply living.
I find this to be truly amazing about life. If you leave it be to progress on its own, it makes ingenious designs within the knot and weave of the collective time, making a masterpiece. And it is my job to maintain that masterpiece in progress, to make sure nothing goes wrong in any way. If anything is disrupted, the beautfy of it will be gone, order disrupted. Any thread that tries to deviate from being a loop, I must fix. I, and the ones that I command, keep everything to be in perfect order.
I command a few lesser Goddei, DemiGoddei I suppose I could call them. Their roles are not easily defined by simple English names. The closest parallel human explanation that I could use, would be of Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos. For those that are not aware, they are from Greek Mythology. Clotho spins the thread, Lachesis measures it,and Atropos cuts it. However, it is not precisely as the Greeks thought it. The Greeks were very close on many subjects, but have yet to be perfect.
Clotho doesn't "spin" the thread, per se. The threads are not created by her. All threads have existed since The Beginning. No, more simply put, when there is a successful conception and creation of a new Consciouness, it is her job to redirect a thread from the dimension of where threads direct to upon death, and direct it back to the dimension of the said life.
Lachesis's definition is the most accurate - she gives a rough measure of the said line. However, her measure can be overruled by the will of the Consciousness of the thread, just as the Consciousness of the thread can redirect it at will, making the intricate patterns of loops. The line may be drastically shorter, due to a decision it made, or it can be maintained due to good decisions. However, the thread can never be unfairly lengthened. I do not allow that.
Atropos's definition is deviated as well. She does not cut threads. Threads are never cut. When there is a death, she simply redirects the thread to the dimension of the deceased, where the line continues from there. And then, in time, that thread may be redirected by Clotho to transcend back into the said mortal dimension. The lines of time never end, only self perpetuate.
So, that being said, that is why no one has been able to accomplish time travel. Because there is no mathematical equation to define it, just as there is no mathematical equation to the decisions of humans. They are as varied as the number of humans themselves. So, looking back on the unique aspects of time as I have explained it, could time travel ever be possible? Well I, being the ultimate overseer, would never allow it. It would disrupt the entire weaving, the entire tapestry. Too many lives would be altered, lines could be destroyed from existance, and the entirety of the design could become unstable and fall. It is rare that I would intercede in mortal affairs, but I would find that a prudent time to act. But, for the purpose of the debate, it is possible.
What looks like one thread is actually intricate layers, of when there has been overlaps. It is similar to the human invention, a rope. When a rope is coiled perfectly, one strand on top of another, in perfect even layers, from above it looks like a perfect circle, does it not? It is the same with time. So, following that analogy, it is possible for one to target a certain layer in a loop. However, there is no promise or accuracy as to the period that the person may wind up in, due to the nature of it. The only way to know for sure is to know the said lines history perfectly, and to have enough of a grasp of the very nature of time to be able to draw a rough map of where in a layer a said decision or period would be. It would be incredibly complicated. However, again, I would never allow that to happen. The instability that it would cause would not be worth the trouble.

Now, having finished explaining Time, I will explain Dimensions. Now, Dimensions are not my specialty. The one that holds specialty over dimensions is the Goddei of Space. Any precise specifications would have to be taken up with Sie. I can only tell what I know from my long experiences. Sie is of similar rank to me - sie is absolute and cannot be questioned. However, sie is not a follower of Order as I am, sie is devout to Chaos. Space is all about Chaos. Sie is constantly causing expansion, growth, and deviations. Sie is what makes my work a little harder, but also a little more interesting.
You see, there are dozens, if not hundreds of dimensions. They are layered, so that each dimension has some sort of parallelity to the next. The ones I have mentioned thus far are the mortal realm that is currently known by the current humans, and the realm of the deceased. But there are many others. There are other dimensions where there are humans that can use magic. There are dimensions where creatures of human legend run free. There are dimensions of strange creatures only conceivable through imagination.
Space has a sense of humor, something which I happen to lack. If sie discovers a human design that sie fancies, sie would make a dimension just for it and similar designs to thrive, and then will collaborate with Clotho, MY Clotho, to divert threads to that dimension for them to grow into the designs sie had so discovered. Hence the reason why so many dimensions exist. There are many mortal dimensions, but there is only one deceased dimension, a spiritual dimension if you will. All that die will have their threads redirected there, regardless of their origin, and so some threads have led lives in multiple dimensions.
There is another part of Space's humor that continues to elude me. For a period of time, an extremely short period of time, he will temporarily diverge a thread directly to one, or even many of sies alternate dimensions, bypassing the spirit dimension, just to redivert it back to its original dimension in the exact place that sie diverted it. These short periods of time sie finds it humorous to operate in is known as Sleep. All dreams are products of sies "tours" of sies dimensions. So, sie being the one that rules over sleep and dreams as well, I suppose you can call sie the "Sandman". I will comment more on that later. Back to the point, those actions of his irk me to no end, but since there is no real disruption, I cannot do anything about it. And there is no harm to it, so I suppose I can tolerate it. But there is one of Space's doings that tolerate. It is too painful for me to watch, and it has resulted in many a debate between the two of us.
I cannot stand when sie will take one of the threads of a spirit that intertwines with the thread of another, and forces it away from it's partner into another dimension to live a life without the said spirit. Space may be too proud to descend sies thread to a mortal realm, but I have visited a mortal realm, and I know what it feels like to be forced away like such!

Let me elaborate, and start another topic of musing for me. I have found, though without much explanation to the fact, is that when the threads of two beings truly hold what humans call "Love" and "Devotion" to eachother, their threads slowly begin to diverge from their beaten path, and begin to intertwine around eachother, their threads revolving around eachother with such tightness that from a distance, they look like one thread. However, due to the nature of the threads, if both happen to make a decision that places them at opposite angles, then they will stop their close knit revolution, and become separate again.
I have descended my thread into the mortal world before, leaving command to my DemiGoddei, and lived a human life, to try to find out the nature of "Love", as no Goddei has been able to find a reasonable answer. I lived a typical human life - no previous memories, having a clean slate to make my own decisions, not knowing of my true being. Space, noticing my existance as a mortal, took that opportunity to plague my human existance will all sorts of psychedelic dreams, of which I still have memory of. Anyway, I did find love. Oh, did I love. But, I also lost. I had been cheated on. The joy, and the pain, are things I will never forget. But I found another, and learned to love them the same, and died a happy woman. Yes, woman. I will explain the mechanics of gender later. But, the thread of my lover could not follow, his thread being destined where all normal human threads must go - the spirit realm.
I backtracked my thread, and tried to find how it all happened. How Love occurs. I still could not make sense of it. I have watched the threads of over a google Consciouses. It continues to elude and defy all reasoning and expectation. Some threads manage to reunite in the spirit realm and resume the tight intertwining. Some diverge. And all, upon birth, diverge due to the nature of a parent's influence. However, there are phenomena that I cannot explain. Due to the nature of my power, I remember precisely all threads. There are none that escape my knowledge. Hence, I can track the threads of lovers after they separated in the act of birth. For some inexplicable reason, even when they are born hundreds, even thousands of miles apart, some threads make their way back to each other, and intertwine once again. I have no reasoning to it. No reasoning that would make sense anyway. I tried to argue with Space to stop his cruel separation, but sie argued that Love is only a product of human imagination, just as are most creatures of different dimensions that sie has found fun to form. I disagree. But, then again, all Goddei have different theories.
The Goddei of Nature, that oversees all that has to do with mortal life within nature, including mortal sensation, materialism, and other such things, defines love in a rather objective way. Sie explains it as a chemical reaction instigated by hormones driven by preferences within the brain. Those preferences being height, colors, dimensions, sounds, and feels associated with all they meet. Accordie to sie, they're all preordained, and the true preferences cannot change, except by natural neural change. So, to sie, Love is purely sensations of the body, nothing to do with the satisfaction of the consciousness. Therefore, I disagree. However, sie could have a point. After all, sie too has descended to the mortal realm to live a human life, so sie has had the same chance to observe it as I have. But we see how everything works differently, due to our affiliations. A human saying that would be rather fitting to this situation, is that "When you have a hammer, everything looks like a nail."
Now, a few things to explain, as I am sure all of you are thoroughly confused by pronouns and some nouns. All will be explained later (as this is clearly unfinished, there is MUCH MUCH MUCH more to this) but Goddei is a gender neutral term for god (self made of course) and Sie is a gender neutral pronoun, Sies being the possessive form of it (partially self made, partially from another book I read, god, can't remember what book)

But yeah, it's a unique perspective, it just came to me when walking to school (came to me in precisely that perspective, and I thought it cool, so I've been slowly mentally writing and improving on it since, until I was able to start typing it today) I would like people's feedback, if possible

Wow! That was great!
Time makes an excellent narrator, I believe. Also, it is very engaging. Such a topic would not typically garner interest from me, but the presentation of narration makes it quite fantastic.
If you could turn this into a story, I'm sure it would be great~
You say you have more to come. I hope to see it!
